Praise & Planning

The past few weeks at KCM have been nothing short of transformative. After our Eureka Moment on March 22nd, we’re proud to now officially launch our Mk-0 Prototype—a functional demonstrator validating the fundamentals of our Piezoelectric Self-Charging Battery (PSCB) platform. It’s the first physical milestone toward true energy autonomy.

🔬 Prototype Testing Underway

Following successful assembly of the initial Mk-0 Demonstrator—built with custom crystalline ceramic arrays on pure copper plating—we’re now engaged in active testing. The first results exceeded expectations, with output minimum at around 3000mV per tick, even under low-stress conditions.

While testing equipment raised early concerns regarding measurement fidelity, we’ve already ordered a double-check instrument with higher True RMS capacity. Our confidence remains high—the signals are there, and we’re tuning into them with more precision.

📈 A public Results Tracker will be made available by Friday to transparently monitor our data and will be included in the:
Progress Tracker

With no major hiccups so far, we are currently finalizing the Mk-I design iteration, which will further optimize the cell for size, load distribution, and material yield. We're still on track to conclude full Mk-0 Prototype testing before the end of April, and we remain on course for our MVP Cell release in Q3-4 2025.

🧑‍💼Core Team update

🏅 Honoring Our COO

A proud moment: Our Chief Operations Officer received a Chamber of Commerce Ruhr Award for outstanding operational excellence. His recent representation at the ICMAA also yielded new strategic contacts for our growth pipeline. Join the Team!

⚙️ CTO Transitioning

Due to ongoing personal health challenges, our founding CTO is stepping back. This change has been handled with care and dignity. Our Core Team has assumed dual leadership roles, but not alone:

We are pleased to confirm that a new Chief Technical Advisor has been secured and is currently supporting the Mk.I development. He’ll be publicly introduced upon conclusion of the Mk.0 testing—but for now, he’s in the lab where it matters.

🛡️ KCM Defense:
Becoming Force

As our footprint expands, we are preparing to formally decouple our defense vertical to create KCM Defense—a wholly aligned, specialized arm dedicated to military and governmental applications of our technology.

  • CI & Brand Identity for KCM Defense will be completed by the end of April.

  • We’ve been granted our US Government Unique Enterprise ID and finalized our NATO DIANA application preparation.

  • The legal and strategic separation will be outlined in our Fiscal Year Review this June.

We believe that lean teams build better, but separation allows us to remain compliant, focused, and lethal in delivery.

🛠️ Final Word

The PSCB Dev-Deck v1.0 is now in full use across investor briefings. The Materials Chart continues to evolve as new ceramics and nanomaterials are screened. Our engineering cadence is stable, our investor confidence is growing, and our vision remains clear.

NEXT: Envoy Update:

Devoxx Greece 2025 (April 10th)

While the core team remains focused on testing, our first Angel Investor, Konstantinos Chrysagis, is representing us at Devoxx Greece, gathering insight into upcoming trends in microservice architecture, SaaS deployment, and cloud optimization. His notes and insights will help us to identify actionable ideas.

This is what building looks like—no noise, no fluff. Just progress underway.

Thank you to all who continue to believe.
